Nature Hike hosted by BSP Naturalist Jean Hoeckwater.
Jean Hoeckwater, Baxter State Park Naturalist, will lead an interpretive hike from Abol Bridge parking lot Friday September 10th at 3:00 PM. What is an interpretive hike? It is a guided hike, led by a knowledgable individual who will inform and education the children who attend. Learn about nature along the Appalachian Trail and Baxter State Park walk along the AT as it enters the park. The hike is an easy one with little elevation change and good footing. The hike should last about an hour and a half. Bring the kids along and have fun while learning about the environment we live in.
